as you know by now, I try to present my very efficient new kind of psychotherapy magic meadow therapy MMT for free on this website to use it yourself as a patient on to try it as a therapist

So far I have only been translating about 20% of the book altogether, but I would welcome that , anybody who's free to translate he can do it of course I would appreciate it ,and even paying a modest price for it.
As soon as I have more translation work ready I will add it to my Web here.

Probably my English is not good enough but I love English and I will never stop using it.

Preface







I have developed the magic meadow therapy ten years ago. .It was not invented in a scientific ivory tower but is based on my experiences with ca.12 000 patients who have seen me because they suffered from addictions, fears , depressions and psychosomatic disturbances . I do not want to claim that the magic meadow therapy can cure everybody but I can claim that it almost helps everybody.



Magic meadow therapy, described in my first book “ Magic Meadow, instructions to Happiness “, represents a new kind of short therapy for all interested people , patients as well as therapists.



My book being available now in English is meant as a guide for interested experts . I would like to stimulate them to apply the magic meadow therapy also to your patients. But I would like to mention the basic principles I started out from:







" The magic meadow is an idea of humanity which everybody can {visit} in his imagination.



" Fears, addictions, depressions, can be treated on the magic meadow but also psychosomatic diseases as well are treated as well as all mental disturbances .



" All patients (men) do have a similar personality structure and therefore are similarly treatable.



" A loving communication " in the parental home is essential for a healthy development of the child. The mother who frankly talks about her feelings plays primarily a stamping and deciding part .



Mental disturbances base on the communication disturbance in the origin family.



It causes personalities of sad, self-insecure people or autocratic, aggressive personalities subdivides, nobody is guilty , also true also for the perpetrators .



Nature, colours and magic beings have a special meaning on the magic meadow. Blue stands for peace and wisdom of nature, ice blue has a meaning of tenderness ,pale green means inner freedom , red stands for love of himself, gold for the positive strengths and helping capabilities of one's own, green for comfort and silence, lavender for innocence, violet for guilty conscience, pink for narcissism, yellow for perfectionism and white for fear}.



Black and gray balls are mentioned many times in my book . You can go to a safe distance by putting problems and former grief into black or grey balls on the magic meadow and only passing them by and leaving it to your own unconscious mind to make a choice of these sad events of your past to come up and work on them.



This basic knowledge of yourself should be known the self - experience which one should have as a basic training to become a magic meadow therapist. . The magic meadow therapy is easy to learn and easy because it is of the same method as a mother comforts her child. Nature is not that complicated.

What would I like to achieve with my new method?







Shortly after I had developed the magic meadow method for the patients, I also decided to make this new treatment easily accessible to everybody wanting to work with it .



By writing this practitioner guide I hope to have made a first step in this direction . I'm aware that everybody will have a slightly different and individual approach to this method



Everybody will find a little different, individual access to the method , it hopefully turns out well to reach as many as possible therapeutically active and helping people.



Of course it's can be helpful in to visit one my seminars for training, but I know by now that especially



experienced therapists can just take it over from the website taking the texts as they are or changing it for the own personal way of doing it.



It really is a do-it-yourself method for the patient and a learn –it- yourself method for the therapist.



Do not hesitate to start right after the lecture of this book your magic meadow therapy.
It really is only a very good story to comfort people



I do not intend to make big business with the method. The magic meadow belongs to everybody , to all people who may need it or would like to use for performing psychotherapy.



After my experiences the method can be explained easily. I do not know exactly how many therapists in Germany are using the methods already but there are quite a number. So far no medical doctor has adopted the method, but psychologists and naturopaths are easily convinced to take the method over. They can combine their own way of doing therapy with my methods of mine



I think {believe} that every man who accepts this method for himself and which would like to deal with other people in this way can carry out this treatment.















How this method came into being



1.the first years







In my book “ Magic Meadow Therapy, instructions to happiness , (2002), how I have developed the method and I referred to the early years around 1984 when I mainly treated addict patients at first alcoholics, later on also lots of drug addicts .



Since 1987 I concentrated on using the method hypnosis for the first time and since 1990 , since 1990 regular by using audio cassettes, using that kind of interview technique to explore the unconscious mind of my patients



I regard the hypnosis as a method of relaxation to open up emotional contents offered during therapy and thus integrated in the unconscious. There the emotional difficulties rooted in the unconscious one, and all psychological disorders spring from there too, the feelings will we have to deal with in therapy come from there. Therefore we need a method which is able to access this area. In the development of the magic meadow I also have thought of the means of advertising .



Everybody knows commercials , everybody knows as the advertising addresses the unconscious mind



.To be commercial- wise effective for advertising a spot is offered, which arouses the attention of the customers. and behind this spot is the message which one wants to transmit is hidden inside. The product to be sold is sent and presented clearly and is impressed in the unconscious .



For over ten years I treated primarily addiction patients by means of conventional therapy with conversations and in groups, at that time, I focussed on relieving them from their past, too. I had the idea I always felt that has to be a strong impulse to be given during the first session already – so the patient would feel compelled to come back and continue the therapy.







2. Psychoanalysis







From 1995 I started to be interested other techniques of therapy and so I did read a lot of Sigmund Freud , who is an excellent writer he was supposed to obtain the Noble prize in 1922 not for his psychoanalysis but for his language in his work



I wanted to know , how somebody like Sigmund Freud managed to develop, to establish such a whole system of therapy first and then to manage spreading it worldwide successfully. .



Years later , I learned that Freud had treated only six patients so far when he already came out with his new theory. Furthermore, alone in the year 1905 1300 publications have been released dealing with the influence of sexuality {sex} on the soul



So his new theory was “riding the wave” following a trend of his time.



that Freud swam {was swimming} on a wave {shaft} of the time {future} fashion when he developed {evolved} his new theory.



Next to Karl Marx, the philosopher of the socialists, and Charles Darwin, the founder of the theory of the origin of species, this Sigmund Freud for many years of long-lived as strongly marked modern age.



Schmidbauerin his biography on Freud rights that he has introduced the motion of love in the therapy that at first he allowed



During the first stages of therapy he makes room for the feeling between him and his patient and that’s a part of therapy during analysis he does solve it again concentrating on the process of transference and counter-transference.







Looking at it this way he suddenly developed some kind of the Magic manual therapy and so does any loving therapist, who in the way creates his own magic meadow for his patients in his own way.



So Freud is for certain one of the predecessors of the Magic Meadow.



Meanwhile we know that his therapy is not an effective in patients and other studies have proven that but new method is good only the technique is not effective and perhaps to give the patient a warm touching therapy must not be only analyzing the past of childhood that but give comfort to the little child suffering from lack of love.



Of course I ride on the modern wave of short-term therapy which was supposed to be the answer of the non-efficient and time-consuming method of Freud



Of course I also ride on the wave of modern short-time therapy , which does not ask for the past history of the patient, but tries to interfere into the present problems.



Magic meadow has not been created in a vacuum ,given the fact that I had already treated more than 8000 patients, I finally found the courage to develop my own method, funnily, it has never been my intention to do like that.It happened by chance.











The systemic therapy







.



I had focused on systemic harpy ended its claim to successful intervene in the patient’s emotional system improving conditions such as rigid behavioural patterns. Depression. phobia and other psychological disorders



The important thing in but systemic therapy is to intervene in the patient’s individual emotional system then referring to the therapist to look at the patient’s original family that consists of mother, father and the patient himself and their partners and children in addition, other family members or other people belonging to the patient’s environment can be included to this system, being of the emotional frame for the behaviour and feelings of the patient



The intervention in the patient’s system does not need to be links directly to the patient’s biography but it may deal with the difficulties and feedback mechanisms inherent in it. Through the intervention, rigid regiments as negative emotional habits can be changed into more positive feelings.







From den neurobiological point a view circuits maintaining such disturbances seem to exist in the unconscious mind. According to the neurobiologist Gerhard Roth therapeutic interventions from the outside might be compared to smaller earthquakes helping to dissolve the rigid structures of psychological disturbances.



I think the goods example is the case of the anorexia patient 16-year-old, who has parents who’ll always start arguing when the patient is putting on weight. Whenever the patient remains thin and sick, however, her parents gets along very well.



If addressing the patient directly “ go and eat she would be likely to eat even less out of fear her parents could get divorced. Consequently, therapist would advise the patient to refrain from eating even they would say to stop eating for another a period of three months,” to give the parents time to sort out their relationship.”



By doing so, therapist helps the patient may react in a paradoxical way as saying” who am I doing, my parents are supposed to look for their relationship of themselves.











This may change the patients starving rituals by this simple therapeutic invention.



This is also done in the Neurological linguistic programming NLP , this method is working by changing pictures, colours ,sounds and underlies sad stories with music for instance.



And depressive mood may be changed by colouring a black-and-white picture standing for the depression.



You can also enlarge or diminish the size of the picture , asking the patient , for his ideas the changing of the pictures.



An important technique is called reframing , the behaviour of the patient or his feelings are changed by selecting another way of seeing it in a different way , in a different situation or location. In this new frame he may be able to use his resources that means the resources of his unconscious mind.























The magic meadow (Götz Renartz)







A surely important impulse for my further work came from the psychiatrist Götz Renartz



Using a technique called the so-called magic meadow strategy



.His approach seemed quite attractive to me but not feasible at that time although.



I went to Rottweil with a anorectic patient in February 1999 and have experienced seen Götz Renartz personally working with my patient as a client.



I still remember { very exactly that the demonstration was very impressive , however, having the feeling that I wanted to carry out this method myself.



10 years later I do know what I was missing: Rennartz stated that “ you should leave the work to the wise unconscious mind, but as we know, the patients have the sad and an unconscious mind without this self-consciousness and a bad conscience all the time.



Even if the unconscious mind is wise , but it is stricken by anxiety sadness and lack of confidence.



So we have to improve the suffering unconscious mind the feelings which have been beaten for decades have to be comforted first, after there is peace in the unconscious mind , but it would work wisely.



My patient did not like the methods, she even cried during the session out of pain.



My patients cry sometimes too but they positively emotionally touched by the magic meadow.



For some of them is the first time to listen to such a good message. It’s like long desired rainfall in the desert



But I had to the idea of the magic meadow and an example of work done by the unconsciousness.















The magic meadow therapy: the new way







At that time, obviously the idea of the magic meadow was waiting in unconscious mind , to come up.



Magic Meadow was supposed to be good for children to bring up their problems on a stage because me and everybody else who is doing psychotherapy thinks that all difficulties come from early childhood. So why we don't take my world of fairy tales to improve emotional of life?



That’s why I put the internal child in the middle of the magic meadow,playing the main part of the



story.







The wise being of Rennartz is replaced by the Golden Part , who may not be wise but who is good in the moral sense of doing good for other people. Even if a patient has no self-confidence at all, she may be convinced that he is doing good for other people and helping them and giving comfort to other people , he is able to acknowledge that as one good capability , he might have . Because I think that he doesn’t need the wisdom, because he knows about his difficulties and there are people who make a psychoanalysis for years, they understand everything but they’ll still suffering from the same sadness, the same anxiety, so what you need is comfort of your early childhood sadness.



This is easy to understand for patients and also for future therapists, you don’t have to explain anything, because they feel the first moment, when they listen to the basic version of the magic meadow which is doing the job already and can be the only intervention , if repeated often enough, into the system of the patient.



Of course I had to find a short time therapy not only concerning the number of therapeutic sessions, but also a short time therapy concerning the duration of one session.20 minutes are enough for me to start the therapy in a new patient.



How easy it is to understand and why it’s effective anyway, you can see looking at the fact, that children younger than four years old get the loving message from the magic meadow .



Another good reason to take this method is that a lot of psychotherapists have the same structure of personality: No self-confidence, depressive and full of bad conscience, they’re able to help with their golden part but they cannot help themselves, so they suffer but by the magic meadow



they improve by themselves and then are able even to help their patients in better way.







I am convinced that my model of the human mind is simple but it works.Maybe that God in whom I believe will say in heaven: Tommy ,this was too easy, there is more to it, but as long as it works I think we cannot do anything wrong .



The self- relieve Erlösungs thought







In another book I read that there are two capabilities of trauma patients for doing fine in therapy 1 ) the capability of the patients to daydream



2 ) and to forgive .







Forgiving for the victim was meant here to forgive the Täter perpetrator, though.



I think at that time that mentally disturbed patients are already traumatized so alone by her mind disturbances which are present and reflected permanently so that they then must forgive themselves just because they think that they are perpetrators that and they have to make peace with the circumstance of being mentally ill or addicted to alcohol . The most essential, most effective and of the magic meadow therapy is this self relieve thought by the cognition of being innocent having the capacity of comforting by himself by means of therapy.



The systemic therapy and also the systemic hypnotherapy also go back to the resources in the unconscious mind, they only do it without the fundamental clearing up of the causes and therefore don't even attempt correction this fundamental lack of love in early childhood



So they miss the chance of correcting aggressive basic structure of many patients by changing their self-destructive manner into a loving and tolerant philosophy , just the opposite as before.



It may be the same result in the systemic hypnotherapy , I cannot deny that this will be may have good results too, however, this new way is immediately explained to the patient and he also can understand it at once .



It is my methodological approach that patients cannot forgive themselves having this personality structure, always believing that they are to blame for everything they have done. Therefore the central intervention should focus to get rid of the bad conscience. After some attempts with to reach my little group of alcoholics in the little private clinic in Hanover by theoretical explanations and trying to install systemic interventions in these patients, as described before , I offered them, so to speak the direct comfort of the lack of love by the magic meadow be as a stage for the representation and repair of emotions and then I noticed that the patients could accept this version of the magic meadow considerably better than the theoretical explanations before.



In the summer of 1999 this magic meadow basic version was formed, and from the beginning my unconscious mind was working to turn all of these nice stories about an ugly type of love and and tenderness on the magic meadow , I didn't know at that time, that I was as soon as I close my rise to start to talk I was in trance myself, being creative as I never can do when I talk with open eyes.



To have one basic version for all was pretty handy: as soon as I had found out that this basic version due to the job for alcoholics, depressed and anorectic patients the same way, I could start of the magic meadow therapy without having a long talk



Years before I had tried to obtain therapeutic changes in patients by direct suggestions in hypnosis but this was not successful, you have to correct the basic lack of love in early childhood.







So the patience comes from the office , you may tell me his troubles , but soon he lies down as I give him this basic version which already contains little bits of his actual problem, and within 10 minutes he knows already most of the story, which is supposed to be his new way of feeling for himself.







I demand difference to my work before with the patients was to be seen in the fact that compared to the former of therapy, giving the sense of the magic meadow therapy in a conversation, that I was now if fundamentally change for right from the beginning and quite a different understanding of the patient's problems: it looks like a first minute effect, if the patient get up from the LIEGE, he looks like being at peace and relief from his troubles, some have tears in their eyes but there is also little smile very often



the bad conscience is relieved, there is comfort and the encouraging for new start, for example for the alcoholic to stop to drink immediately.



So the patient can see from the first moment on that his bad conscience was the reason for his disease and not the consequence of his doing as he thinks all the time , which is very effective for alcoholics



The reason why diminishing the bad conscience is so effective is in my opinion calls by the fact that the bad conscience is a dynamic feeling which has changed all the time, and it wasn't the main job for the patient, that's why he is very sensitive also for comfort in this area.























Similarities to the family therapy of V. Satir







The basic essentials of the magic meadow therapy are also part of given also the family therapy of Virginia Satir. Similar humanitarian approaches are included in this kind of speech therapy which are then are used methodically in the conventional client-centered therapy, following principles, like these here:







1. Change is possibly, in any case an inner change.



2. Parents always do their best, therefore also then, if they do bad. Therefore they are innocent.



3. We have sufficient resources, to help ourselves.



4. The problem is not {lies} the problem as such but in the way of dealing {deal} with this problem.



5. Hope is an important factor of every change of the difficulties.



6. People are good by nature .



7. Parents repeat the of their own origin family, too, when these designs are harmful.



8. Events of the past cannot be changed, merely the consequences they may have on us.



9. Healthy human relationships are based on equivalence.



10. Mammals are driven by negative feelings like all living beings . Negative feelings lead to actions which then cause positive feelings.







Of Bert Hellinger, a well known systemic therapist does have certain similarities to the MMT doing his “ family positioning “.



Connections to previous generations are presented by foreigners in a group therapy, and if they have not been respected sufficiently in the past they are put in a better position in the presence , in order to make peace with the past to be free for the presence. This may heal symptoms of mental disturbance too.







Similarities to psychoanalysis







It seems to be that systemic short time therapists ,also trained psychoanalytically are especially interested in the MMT.



Many elements which are related to psychoanalysis are contained in the MMT.







The analysts also see







1 ) the imprinting by the parents: instead of the tenderness as the principle of MMT they take {discourage} the anal, oral and sexual disturbances of the children as a basic fundamental idea of helping.



2 ) in the refurbishing of these disturbances is the chance for the cure .



3 ) at the end of such a treatment stands hopefully the reconciliation with himself and others.



4 ) the free association as an access to the unconscious mind . Of course this is also the kind of trance the moment you put a person on the sofa in and let him close his eyes, he will enter the state of a medium intensive hypnosis.



5 ) in every case it is harmful and this can be proven: the disturbance or interruption of the intensive contact between the mother and child , this is important for every animal too.







To the difference compared with psychoanalysis, however,:it is left to the patient and his unconscious mind in MMT if he wants to bring up the issue of early trauma or not. And the cure is more important than the analysis. There is a certain pattern of the anxious and sad words of feelings, so can you offer tenderness and understanding and free communication, those helpful means his mother could not offer in the past.



The effort to explain everything my sexuality within the family of origin has not been proven by anything that was a modern idea at that time when Freund creates his methods. But you only have to put tenderness and understanding and communication for sexuality, and you have the same system.



There's not much communication with MMT –therapist at the beginning of this therapy, because he has to give the basic version first and then he talks to the patient about that things that may be important and give additional reasons to make more MMT dream journeys.































The basic role of the mother in the emotional shaping of the child







The MMT is a model which is copied from nature. The mammals to which we belong have an emotional system in which the love for the children of one's own is an absolutely important, prior-ranking aspect , and it's fulfilling is virtually typical for the species and the special peculiarity of the mammals in the first place.



If you disturb five day-old rats in their emotional development by separating them from their mother and only for five hours on three days this causes that these rats durably become aggressive and hyperactive and this stays like that for the rest of their lives.



The ability of living beings, later on , to handle their negative emotions which are necessary for life and survival arises from the quality of this relation between mother and child.



So it cannot be the sense of therapy to abolish negative feelings . It is about the ability for the mastering of these negative feelings ,what therapy is all about-







Unlike machines , living beings need these negative feelings for their existence to get into move to do things through for food and for security and protection .



So they need anxiety and sadness for example to look for friends in the group. Animals cannot think they don't have a language, so they need the feeling of being known and disliking it , missing other animals for survival .



Leaving natural life people got disturbed because of their feelings didn't have the same function as before, the feelings would change by the parents listening to laws which were made by the strong and powerful people to rule the powerless people, and this system was planted into the family and the father as being the physically strongest was the king of the women and children. If the family was happy to father was a good guy but we know how bad the father can be. And that is the fact that a mother who comes from a spoiled family is unable to be a loving and open-minded mother.



That is why the human beings need therapy and animals as long as they live in nature don't.







Dealing with negative feelings







Consequently to what I've said above mental health consists of the drive and the altogether undisturbed ability , to change negative into positive feelings .



If you have the feeling of hunger you answer that by looking for food and eating, if you are mentally disturbed, you eat either too much or not enough, so you get either obesity or anorexia.



This is the same for anxiety or boredom if you have too much of them and if you're not able to help yourself you will get sick and you will probably need some kind of help or therapy.



Also in animals you can see, that there may be a development to aggression or to sadness, this is true in human beings the same way.



Either you get a personality called depressiv-insecure or you become aggressive, the Narcissit type



In the MMT called the purple rabbit on the sad side and pink panthers on the aggressive end.



It is very gold full therapy to divide people in those two groups because of course the purple rabbits will suffer a lot from pink Panthers and so they have to learn to make peace with these pink Panthers of the past and in the present time and this is a good sign if they can do it like that that they have made progress in therapy.



The purple rabbit actually repeat the same story of their early childhood: the pink Panthers represent the powerful parents to suppress their children, and the purple rabbits tend to fulfil the will of the pink panthers in order to get their love and tenderness right now in the same way as he failed to get it already in the ancient times of his childhood.



Animals give a maximum of protection to lay off springs, and puberty is made to set the beloved children into the freedom of being adult is specially male young adult animals have to leave the flack to be on their own so you can see what would happen if these young adult animals were not ready to live loan and look for their own destination: they would die either killed by the chief of the flack looking at the apes like chimpanzees and gorillas on dying out anxiety and loneliness, why looking for a new flack for instance-



And there is no shrink in nature, to cure a sad ape.



So we did not live better after being civilized but worse. That's why my new book will be called: the lost ape.



And so you can see again the most important part of the mother and the life of the young kid and of course the negative influence of disturbed relationship between mother and baby.



Little babies are very sensible to these disturbances: a harsh or sad mother, perhaps disturbed by an always drunken father will always kept the green leaves from the newborn child.



















The ancient system of the oppression



In the past, the people have lived in nature . 2000 years ago still we lived in the woods in small groups like the apes about 50 members of the tribe.



Of course there was also oppression by the strongest male chief and you can see for example in Papua New Guinea where you can find Stone Age people still living as 50,000 years ago selling their daughters to the neighbourhood tribe and shrinking the heads of their enemies.



They didn't get the influence of civilization so far but now we think we are the crown of evolution but we still have this oppression in the family.



One third of all woman and Germany have already been stricken by physical violence and abuse and so are male children very often beaten by their parents.



So there is no improvement for these victims whom I do meet in my office to treat their drug addiction later on.



Every parent who fails in love for his children has been a victim of violence and lack of love in a his own childhood and gives this bad heritage to his own children and even does not notice any mistake because self-righteousness is part of being violent.



If the mother is a purple rabbit she is the ideal of victim of the father and she cannot protect the children because only flight can save such a family stricken by violence.















To educate children is private area you don't need a drivers license for being a father or a mother. So it's just incidental and once kind of family you are born by fate.



School can sometimes correct things but nowadays it is even worse: especially the underprivileged school are suffering from violence and shouting all these underprivileged children coming from these underprivileged families and TV , Internet and PC- games are full of violence anyway.



So these underprivileged children have no good chance to learn a new kind of human communication at school.



And you will get sick patients having diseases like asthma , coronary heart disease, cancer him and all of these mental disturbances like sadness, anxiety, depression and psychosis



so we have to change the whole system, we have to teach the children at school it how to be nice to their future kids that's the only way mankind's future may be better than the past.















The question of the innocence of man







An important principle of magic meadow therapy is the innocence of everyone.



Today's natural medical science rather assumes that we only decide unconsciously, so we can not have any responsibility for our mistakes and misfortune.



It is not important for the function and efficiency of magic meadow therapy, if people are innocent or not. Therapy is measured by efficiency if it works in the patient, it is good for him.



I am not a member of the national board of moral judgment, but I wants to help the sad people whom I met in my office so we do not have to discuss the basic problem of having a free will to decide on what's to do on not to do.



These feelings of being guilty are good for nothing and do not add that little bit to the improvement of mental disturbances or diseases.















Related to the difficulties of the perpetrators and the consequences for the judiciary I also think that no one is responsible for his wrongdoings, all responsible because all the conclusions are done unconsciously and emotionally.



On the other hand I use in my therapy for word of responsibility , and what I mean is an unconscious feeling of “I can do it”after having done this act of loving yourself you feel strong enough as a consequence of therapy to take over responsibility for your doing, beyond anxiety has been diminished.

This does not mean a change of personality and character of the patient, it is just a correction of his wrong point of view judging his capabilities and responsibilities. The positive awareness of himself is the solution of his problems.



This is what therapy it has to do nothing more and nothing less.

The effectiveness of the magic meadow is based on the following factors:







1. The style of the presentation, the music, the positive contents and the good end of the story that corresponds to a nice and cosy bedtime story by a loving mother who takes her child to sleep with a gentle voice , explains the world to him and makes clear to him that his part world is good in this world and that it can do nothing wrong with the mother . Studies for effectiveness of psychotherapy methods are rare and there are so many mistakes to be made if you are comparing several methods, because it's very hard to find the control group which has either no therapy at home or a completely different therapy.



Most of the modern kind of psychotherapy is like systemic therapy or family therapy do present very good rates of success but there is no guarantee of success. For example in Germany there are only two methods of psychotherapy paid by the insurance companies : behaviour therapy and psychoanalysis , so you will have only studies of private patients who are able to pay €60 for one hour systemic therapy. And you have to look for those kind of mental disturbances , which have been treated.



So far there is only one study done in Magdeburg, Germany, done that in the private office of a psychologist, who was been no good shape concerning his own state of mind, who suffered from depression and was not able to make his own work sufficiently, so he took books and CDs of magic meadow therapy and handed it over to his patients, so they just took it , listening to the sound of the basic version , reading the book, having diseases like depression, anxiety und and personality disturbances among others and 53/56 patients claimed an important improvement of their mental condition.

I assume once that a patient suffers from his mental disturbance regardless whether the disease is all physical or mental origin. So if he feels better, he will notice it.



Most of the of the methods of psychotherapy include a person close contact with the therapist. So you have to look for the disease later on let us say one year later this kind of follow up study is even harder to be performed.



Especially therapy which is done in the clinic, is profiting by the protection effect of the hospital community, so every patient who will be pronounced as being improved in his mind condition to at the end of his clinical therapy. But we all know these stations who suffer immediately after being back at home.

And when I have to do it like that I should recommend that to the patients also. also















Which importance has trance or hypnosis for the good efficiency of Magic Meadow Therapy?







The effect of the trance in the Magic Meadow is done indirectly by the kind of induction by the contents of this already distracting awareness to produce this kind of mental state called hypnosis, directly done by induction using the comments table, and I performed myself before I started performing magic meadow therapy.



The word of hypnosis is not often spoken of in my therapy. I just tell a good story to the patient which gives him the impression of relaxation, comfort, understanding and relief.



There has not been much discussion about noses because the patient has very different opinion of the condition of hypnosis, some of them asked up to several sessions of MMT, “ could you do it a real hypnosis with me to find out all a my secrets in early childhood?”

The quality of deepness of hypnosis does not add a thing to the effectiveness of MMT , on the contrary patient who fall into deep hypnosis after the period of 10 minutes MMT session don't have the conscious effect of knowing the story which is good for them so they have to read it afterwards when they are awake again.



The ineffectiveness of MMT is much more due to a narcisstic personality than to the effect of no response to hypnosis.

The meaning of the inner child and the golden part







A quite important part of the method is due to the diversion of two parts of the personality , called the Inner child and the Golden Part.



The inner child is the suffering can't which is not able to help himself and the Golden Part is the competent part of the seller who can help others better than himself.



So the patient can learn to accept himself as being competent and experiences himself on the one hand as love needy and on the other hand as capable of helping himself.



By this it can also be avoided to get addicted to much to the therapist. This division into an inner child and a golden part is accepted and understood very well by almost all patients .



The inner child represents the patients personality stricken by his bad feelings , fears and needs, with his longings and his desires as he is aware of himself- and suffering from.



The golden part is the competent emotional component of the patient s mindl, a loving part, from now on being able to do it for himself the loving of himself with all his mistakes and failures included as the loving mother would do it with her baby.



This election is very well accept it as I mentioned before some mental disturbances especially concern of not being able to accept the inner child.



Then you have to train this capability of being aware of the inner child to train this kind of loving.



This is a problem in borderline cases and anorexia, so you can take another child the patient knows very well so he can exercise to love this child and then try to do it with himself.























The significance of the colours for the therapy







The colours have a great importance. You calm down and make it easier for the patient dealing with his feelings, create another perception of the emotions, which may be explained sometimes not that easy.



The colours on the Magic Meadow have partially a different meaning than they have commonly Volksmund., but this is not doing a thing to the efficiency or the compliance of the patients.



Of course there is no reason if you have as been therapist want to change the meaning of the colours



the effect is not bound to the details of the story of the Magic Meadow, the effect is a good story to change your mind.



You Got this importance of the colors already in the neurol-inguistic programming NLP well you supposed to change black-and-white to coloured which may have an effect of diminishing anxiety or depression.



In my awareness when I use my own methods I find these colours have a comforting effect on me, just imagining these colours while listening to the text.



The colours can also have the effect of soothing the bad remembrance of the contents of traumata



there's another question: roundabout one third of the patients does really hallucinate pictures in colours but I never ask for that, because I fear that a patient who is getting to know that she cannot visualize pictures and comments and other people can, he is probably disappointed in things again if he is not fit enough for the method of MMT.



After 10 years of using the methods I can really issue you, that the effect of the therapy is not bound to the visualizing capabilities of the patient. So don't ask them. There's no need to do it. If they want to talk by themselves that's okay.











What makes the basic version of the Magic Meadow so efficient ?



As I tell you before : for the last five years and I am treating myself with my own method and I can report the following details:



1. I can use it for sleeping I listen to it I don't listen to the contents completely, and I am foreign asleep mostly after 5 to 6 minutes or even if I get to the end of the story I am in trance , I don't have some possibility of logical thinking, if I tried to imagine the pictures more intensely the effect of relaxation is an enhanced as soon as the sound of the story has ended ,sleep comes up pretty soon.



2. If I wake up during the night I listen again to the Basic Version and will sleep again.



3. If I am not tired but restless and in stress I listen to the basic version 2 times or three times in a row



in these moments I can even sleep out of the stress in a time where I would never sleep otherwise so this is the kind of deep trance.



4. You can calm down your stress



5. as well as you listen to the story you get the ideas of the story



6. after the end of the story you fantasy is cut down on so you think of nearly nothing, and this is good preparation for the sleep or in this keeper trance leading to a good dreamless sleep.







There are so far no results of research what details of the basic version really necessary to get the effect of anti-anxiety training and an anti-depression-effect.

-having a good chance of improving



-having a golden part for comfort of yourself



-getting the story of your family history



-seeing that the story is already known



-feeding the media to help when you pass your traumatic and sad passed history.



-at the end of the book there is a stripped Basic Version called” place of clearness”, no colours, no flowers, no magic beings, just the story of the inner child , meeting the big brother who is able to help others, you only look into your book of photographs and meet your family you can also comfort yourself and there's not much difference in the effectiveness of the method, so the colourful and magic frame of MMT is doing the PR work to start with it and to stay with it.



The easiest way of doing matching metal therapy is just to talk with the people with closed eyes and this will do the job just talking about the principles of MMT.



It is not important how much text you really listen to consciously, as soon as you think of the pictures, trance will begin.



If you want to change your relationship with the problem, the easiest way is to put it into one of the grey or black bowls and put your arms around your inner child and comfort it yourself and being your own big brother or sister.



Even if you don't have any other follow-up treatment and no further audio tape matching your problem pretty good, it is good enough to listen to the basic motion, many patients do it in the Internet for example one guy having chronic bowel inflammation disease M. Crohn and gets improvement just by the basic version.



So did the borderline young lady or another borderline female patients, who listens to the children's Basic Version, even this is also doing the job of therapy.



So what I figure is that just listening to the good story of being not guilty and coming to a rest of all of these self torturing thought and chronic auto aggressive ideas that's the most important effect, so there is no good effect by autohypnosis alone, you need a good story , more the sound and the direction , being friendly, cosy and relaxing and this is what's a good mother does with her baby to show and give him love that he can sleep and feel pretty good.



If you want to become a therapist on your own you have to have this experience too. I did not represent the type of insecure and depressive person, that I profit anyway: I feel and sleep better than before , and I have no infections at all for five years now. That makes MMT to an real method of do-it-yourself for the patient and do-it-yourself to learn how to use it as a therapeutic method.











The significance of the active and creative trance for my person at the creative beginning {rise} of the magic meadow











I have developed the MMT using my unconscious mind, as I told in my first book.



I always used to to tell stories to my children and other people. But I don't think that I have been unlimited fantasy and I think I don't even need to have that. At the end of this book I would give you some components of my stories which are present all the time I think there are only like 25 different elements which may be combined to the whole story, making up the second session for the patient putting his problem in the well fitting dress of the for example pearls vision as I call one of the second session stories.



Of course as is better to tell the story of the Basic Version than to read it because you have to open your eyes to read and then you are not relaxed enough to ask you unconscious mind to give a good story to the patient.



So it's helpful if you have no anxieties to present yourself when you are awake. But the effect is not dependent on your skills, the message is safe to help anyway even if you don't add anything on your own.



I think the second personal version for the patient is a present to him to show respect to his long story of suffering the tortures of his sad inner child depression.



A typical example is in eight-year-old boy from Switzerland who was sad that his father has left home village after having been divorced a couple of years ago.

I can only state that I cannot do the same good stories on the magic meadow when I'm awake and have my eyes open, my concentration is much better than otherwise, and I feel a deep empathic relation with the patient, there is no distinction between patients and therapists, just a good feeling to give them comfort and I only have to think, that everybody is not guilty, that life is the rule of therapy of this kind, that all of these people have not been loved and comforted enough during early childhood and that I'd give it now to him, the patient, I train him to expect his bad feelings, to make peace with his past and his present time, nobody is guilty, he has a goat insists our go to brother to comfort himself, that this is good enough to help him.



Maybe, but I have a special talent, but I told you before even the story without colours and without music will do the job.



Don't be unhappy if you have another style of stories using MMT: it's your own style and your patients will be glad to have your personal style is a personal way of treating them.
